As a musical engineer, Robert Schneider’s main concern lies in giving the recording an authentic and emotionally appealing sound. Being also a composer and a pianist, he is well equipped especially for contemporary music production. In 2010 a recording of his, featuring string quartetts of Ruszicka, received an „Echo Klassic“-award for „Chamber music recording of the year“.
